Secure Composite Doors
KRB incorporate (as standard and at no extra cost to you) the unique cylinder technology of secure lock systems.

Millenco Magnum Anti bump and snap cylinder
The cylinder has been tested to the highest grade of the BS EN 1303:2005 standard and is fully approved by the BSI and holds the Kitemark. The door cylinder lock is drill, pick and force resistant and additional keys can only be ordered from approved key cutters or directly from us.
This is the highest ever specification lock that we have used and offers our customers complete peace-of-mind.
Home Security
Homeowners are increasingly concerned about security, particularly in view of the widespread number of break-ins from ‘bumping’ and other forms of cylinder manipulation. All our Apeer doors now offer optimum resistance against physical attack and break-ins.
Launch of the ultra-secure cylinder lock comes hot on the heels of news that Apeer has become the first double rebate door range to offer the new Keyfree lock from Yale. Featuring a keypad operating system and remote keyfob that allow access to properties without a traditional key, the new Keyfree lock is now available for demonstration at our showroom.
We are constantly reviewing and updating the security features on our doorsets as we are aware of how important this is to homeowners.
Our Apeer doors feature no glazing cassettes and are flush on the external side. This prevents the triple glazed units, which are secured in the door with a unique glazing system, from being extracted from the outside.
The Apeer 70 is deemed the Rolls Royce of doorsets and has ‘Secured by Design’ police approval. Along with its solid, steel-reinforced frame design, the double rebated construction offers additional security – quite simply they are impossible to kick down! The Apeer 70 model also features steel dog bolts to secure the door in the frame, further protecting against intruders.
